Chrysmela Catch’s primary locking mechanism is through three micro ball bearings that grip the post firmly and stay in position until unlocked. The second mechanism is a safety catch that grips firmly onto the notch at the back of the post.

Instant lift for heavy earrings and delicate skin.
When purchasing Chrysmela Catch, you can choose to add optional complimentary discs to lift heavier earrings or provide more support to delicate earlobes.
Discs are easy to use: if you select Chrysmela Catch with discs, the discs will already come attached and you simply wear Chrysmela instead of your regular earring backs.
If you're buying the discs separately and want to apply them to your existing Chrysmela, place each disc on a flat surface with Chrysmela on top and press down squarely until they click.

Chrysmela Catch fits most 0.6-1.1mm post earrings and, when cared for (see instructions here!), they will last you a really long time.
