When I explained my comment on my email obviously I wasn’t clear.. when I said the disc broke the other part came off and was lost. I expected to get a replacement pair because that’s what I paid for.. very disappointed
Excellent product. I can sleep in my earrings and they won’t get lost. The customer Support is very helpful. I’m very pleased.
I have two issues. First, I was not able to get the backs on the earrings I wanted to wear with these backs. Second, when I tried them with other earrings the backs didn’t stay on.
Chrysmela supports straight earring posts 0.6-1.1 mm in diameter, as stated in all our product pages and brochures. Please make sure your earrings' posts are within the range. If yours are closer to 1.1 mm and/or screw posts, please apply Chrysmela in 'unlocked' position (as shown in the photo brochure you received) to minimize the friction.
Also when testing, please pull the earrings (not Chrysmela) so you do not accidentally 'unlock' Chrysmela. If you have additional questions, please email us at info@chrysme.la.

My husband bought me some nice diamond earrings that came with some locking backs and one of them quit locking. I didn’t want to lose my earrings, so I bought the Chrysmela backs and they are secure and work perfectly.
I'll admit, when I first received my platinum Chrysmela earring backs, I was a bit hesitant. The back felt so secure that I initially had trouble figuring out how to take it off the earring. In my excitement to use them, I completely missed the instructions! After a classic "duh" moment and a quick read of the directions, I was a pro. The locking mechanism is brilliant and incredibly easy to use once you know how.
Now, I can't imagine wearing my earrings without them. My husband gifted me a pair of diamond studs that are my absolute treasure, and the standard backs always left me feeling a little anxious. With the Chrysmela backs, that worry is completely gone. Thank you!
